What is the High School to College Success System?

College Admissions Expert Shereem Herndon-Brown created the High School to College Success System for parents and students who want to know how to successfully navigate the high school experience and, ultimately, college search, application and admissions process. 

As a former Admission Officer at Georgetown University and a school counselor at two elite private schools, Shereem is the rare educator who has been on “both sides of the desk.” He knows what’s on the minds of parents and what students need to build authentic profiles to be the best college applicants.

Over the years, the most frequent questions arise about aspects of high school and the roadmap to get to college. He has created the High School to College Success System to address all of these pressing questions. Via a monthly pre-recorded topics, he will deliver the answers as well as hold live monthly calls specifically for parents and one for students. With a blueprint laid out, parents and students will be able to follow the road to success.

Meet Shereem Herndon-Brown

Inspiring and instructional, Shereem Herndon-Brown connects with anyone who needs an educational plan.  His students have attended schools such as Dartmouth, Duke, Emory, Harvard, Stanford, Syracuse, University of Georgia, University of Miami, University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, University of Virginia, University of Texas – Austin, Vanderbilt and Yale as well as many others.

Before he set out on this purpose-filled assignment, he worked as an Admissions Officer at Georgetown University, a guidance counselor at two high schools. Having worked on “both sides of the desk” in admissions gives Shereem a perspective that few other counselors have. 

He is a graduate of Wesleyan University with a Bachelors’s degree in English and a Masters of Arts degree from the Breadloaf School of English at Middlebury College. He is also a Member of the Independent Educational Consulting Association (IECA) and the National Association of College Admissions Counseling (NACAC).
